Abandoning My Journal... For Now [Oct. 30th, 2007|11:37 am]
[Current Mood |accomplishedaccomplished]

Things are really really busy at my house right now. I have a new baby sister, Caitlin! So I'm spending all my free time being a great big sister to her, and I really don't have time to update my journal. See that picture? That was from June 2006!

My mommy will continue to write stories about me and about Caitie in her journal - just look for the ainsley and caitlin tags!

When I can write on my own, Mommy says I can have my journal back, so keep me on your friends list - I might be back sooner than you think!

Busy!!! [Apr. 24th, 2007|10:14 am]

I haven't updated my journal since before Christmas! My Mommy (amymarr) has been posting cute stories about me in her journal, because I've been too busy to update. So, since I last posted:

  • I got everything I asked Santa for at Christmas, and I love my Dora castle.

  • I grew and grew and grew, and now I'm wearing 4T and size 4 clothes!

  • I had to retire a few pairs of shoes, but I have new shoes, in size 9. Still need to get sandals for the summer, though.

  • I got a haircut, and told the lady I wanted it to be really short. Mommy says I can get it really short after I am a flowergirl.

  • We celebrated my half birthday with leftover birthday cake that Mommy and Daddy put in the freezer. I was so surprised!

  • I decorated an Easter tree and got lots of great stuff for Easter. I also wore a very pretty dress and hat and gloves and white shoes to church and then to Nana's house. I was very excited to get all dressed up for weeks and weeks before Easter.

  • I can stay dry at home, at Nana's house, and out in other places in panties, but I still don't go on the potty at school (and I don't poop in the potty yet at all). My teachers say that I can't "grow up" and become a Garden Sprout until I do that, which means I'll stay a Panda Bear for a while longer.

But the biggest news of all is that I'm going to be a BIG SISTER before my birthday! I am so excited! The baby is in Mommy's tummy and I can't wait to meet her! I want a little sister - Mommy says we don't get to pick, but I hope it's a sister. I am going to see the baby later this week with a special camera and her the heartbeat - I've been telling everybody how excited I am about that!

I also have a new best friend, Stick. I found him on the playground yesterday. "He can't see or talk or anything; he's just a stick," I told Mommy. :)

Santa At MY School! [Dec. 18th, 2006|07:42 pm]
[Tags|, ]

Today when Mommy came to pick me up, she told me there was someone waiting to see me inside my school.

I was so surprised to find SANTA in the lobby! He knew my name and I told him what I want for Christmas (again) and he said he already got my letter and that I should be a good girl and then Mommy took my picture with him...

See the picture!Collapse )

The best part about meeting Santa was getting a whole candy cane all to myself! Yum!

Christmas is Coming! [Dec. 15th, 2006|01:35 pm]

Christmas 2006
I am so excited for Christmas!! I write to Santa every day - now that I've run out of things to tell him that I want, I write letters for friends who can't write. Last night, I wrote to Santa and asked him to bring Giana a truck. I know she wants a truck, I just know it!

I posed for this picture last Sunday before we went to church and a party at jgreeno's house. Our tree wasn't quite finished being decorated yet, but we've since finished it and I love it!

My favorite thing right now is the dancing and singing snowman and penguins Mommy got me at Hallmark. I love to play it over and over, and add in the other snowmen we have!

Happy Halloween! [Oct. 31st, 2006|11:08 pm]
[Tags|, , ]

Halloween 2006This year, I had two costumes, but since it was warm enough, I decided to wear my "kitty witch" costume for trick-or-treating. Here I am posing for a picture on our porch before going trick-or-treating.

My first stop was Mrs. Dickert's house. This morning, she stopped by our house and left me a special pillowcase for the pillow she made me for my birthday. (She also left us some cookies, but I didn't see those yet.)

Halloween 2006 - Trick or TreatingMrs. Dickert gave me lots of neat stuff, including Play-doh, crayons, and pretzels, which I ate in the car. We did some more trick-or-treating in her neighborhood, and a lot of people liked my costume.

Then we went back to our neighborhood and visited Tiffany's house, but she wasn't home. So then we went to the big Halloween party in the center of our town. Daddy was there with the Boy Scouts setting up a haunted house tent. We did some more trick-or-treating in town, and I filled up my bucket with candy!

My favorite thing I got is a blue tootsie pop. I wanted to eat it right away, but Mommy wouldn't let me.

Goodbye, Tiffany! [Oct. 27th, 2006|05:55 pm]

[Current Mood |bouncybouncy]

Now that autumn is here, I am keeping busy. Mommy has a new job, so she can't stay home with me two days a week the way she used to. So I play with Daddy. We go to the park, or just in the backyard to play. I like to play in the leaves, and I love sticks and rocks!

Goodbye, Tiffany!I went apple picking with Mommy, Daddy, and Auntie Jami a few weeks ago, and we are still using the apples we picked! Last night, I made two apple crisps with Mommy and Daddy - I love to cook! We also picked out pumpkins, one big one and one little one, and Uncle Troy is going to carve them with me this weekend. I call jack-o-lanterns "jack-a-lyns" and apple crisp is "apple christmas".

This first picture is of me and Tiffany. Until today, she was one of my teachers, but today was her last day. I gave her a present to enjoy with her husband, who is coming home from Iraq. He is in the Army, and he has been keeping us safe for a long time. Tiffany has missed him a lot, so she is happy to be moving to a place called Tennessee to be with him when he comes back. But she is very sad to be leaving me and all of my friends. I will miss her a lot, but her mom and dad live on our street so she promised to visit me.

It's been getting really cold here, and while we really like the coat that Miss Sarah gave me for my birthday, it's just not warm enough. Mommy says it might get warmer soon, but until then, I needed a new winter coat. She was going to buy me one at her store, but a nice lady she works with gave her one that her daughter wore last winter! I love it because it is PURPLE, and that is my favorite color! Mommy and Daddy got me the hat and mittens last year at the Big E - they were too big then, but they're just right for me now! I am so excited to have a new coat and hat and mittens. Now Mommy is going to look for gloves, pants, and boots that I can use to play in the snow. I hope they are all purple, too!

That's all for now - I'm staying at the Big Red House tonight, and I'm having a great time. We are going to see the pumpkins, and then tomorrow Auntie Jami is taking me to dance class. I can't wait for Halloween!!!

On Turning Three... [Oct. 10th, 2006|03:51 pm]
[Current Mood |awakeawake]

Well, now I am three years old. I had my pirate party last weekend, and it was awesome! I can't wait for Uncle Troy to post the photos! Update: Hey, look! They're already posted!

I am just getting over being sick - I had a fever and an upset tummy, and now I have an ear infection.

Yesterday, we went to see Dr. Aggarwall. I am a big girl - 32 lbs and 37.5" tall! Mommy can't believe how much I've grown just since June. I played a game with the nurse and some picture cards, but she and Mommy didn't think I did well. Then we played another game with some headphones, but I couldn't hear any of the sounds. So we're going to go back and play the games again next month to see if I get any better. Then I had to have a blood test, which I did not like at all!

The doctor says I talk like a 4 and a half year old, and that it's time for me to go see a dentist. I have no idea what that means, but it might have something to do with the little pills we got. When I finish my flouride medicine, I get to take the pills instead. I hear they're tasty.

Sleepover! [Sep. 10th, 2006|08:38 am]
[Current Mood |awakeawake]
[Current Music |aunties, an uncle, and cats!]

Last night, we celebrated lots of birthdays! I love a birthday party - my favorite parts are the singing, blowing out the candles, eating the cake, and presents! The food at the restaurant was really good too, which is good because I was really hungry.

After the party was over, we recited Pajama Time and I put my PJs on at the Big Red House. Then I went to sleep in Uncle Derek's old room, but not right away. Mommy and Daddy had to leave before I would go to sleep. After they left, Auntie Jami and I went to bed. I was so tired!

Mommy called to talk to me a little while ago, and I was going to talk to her, but I got distracted by Auntie Tamisha. I'm sure Mommy understands - there are so many people and animals to play with here at the Big Red House! It's a lot more exciting than my own house, and I don't want to miss a second!

Update for August! [Aug. 28th, 2006|07:40 am]

[Current Mood |accomplishedaccomplished]

Well, I haven't been keeping up with my journal lately. I'm too busy right now!

I really like my school. Mommy says it's not "new" anymore, so I keep trying not to say "new school". It's fun, anyway. I play with Katie Kimball most of the time. There's a boy named Wesley who just turned three. I can't wait to be three! I know when my birthday is, and I can't wait! Giana already had her first birthday, so I wish Mommy and Tamisha and Auntie Carol and Uncle Derek would all hurry up and have their birthdays and it can be my turn!

On the days when I don't go to school, I go do fun things with Mommy. Sometimes we go play with my friend Joanna at her house or at a playground. Last week, she came over to my house for ice cream and to play in my clubhouse and sandbox. That was fun. We went to a new playground with Colin and Steven and their mommy, and then we had lunch at their house. Colin has lots of toys I don't have, just like Joanna, so that's fun.

We've been to the zoo, too. That was a fun day. And Mommy spent a whole week trying to get me to use the potty all the time, but I'm just not ready. I would rather pee in my pull-ups than in the potty.

UkeleleWe have had a lot of picnics this month, too. We had one with Nana and her friends Mrs. Canon, Grace, and Baby Isabella at Look Park in Northhampton - we got yelled at by a man driving a little car. I guess we're not s'posed to have picnics there, so don't try it! That same day, we had a picnic at a church with our church friends. I played with the five-year-olds while Mommy helped set up the picnic, but I was glad to see Joanna when she arrived. We ate cupcakes and played games. I even learned to play the ukelele!

Our last picnic was this weekend - Nana, Daddy, Mommy, Auntie Jami and I went to see the WaterFire in Providence. It was really cool! We ate fried chicken and snacks on the grass in front of a big white building where some people were getting married. After we ate, I ran and ran on the grass, and played with Daddy. Then we walked down to meet Uncle Nick, Auntie Carol, and Giana at the water. We soon found Alex, Ryan, Josh, and Mr. & Mrs. Moore. The boys were very nice to me, but a little huggy - I didn't like that too much. They did try to play with me, but I wanted to play with the baby instead. They must get that a lot. Anyway, it was really awesome to see the fires get lit. I actually sat still for that part. We had a really great time.

Yesterday, Mr. Wilde and Miss Covart came to visit, and they brought sirthatcher! I was so excited to see a dog in my own house. I think I scared him, because he barked a lot, and I don't think he's supposed to do that. We had a good time, though. Next time, I hope the weather is better so we can play outside together - I bet he'd love my clubhouse!!

So that's all I have to say right now, except that something's wrong with Mommy lately. She's been sleeping a lot, and just acting strange. I hope she's not sick. I sit on her lap a lot now, to make her feel better. I hope she's better soon.
