|Update for August!

Well, I haven't been keeping up with my journal lately. I'm too busy right now!
I really like my school. Mommy says it's not "new" anymore, so I keep trying not to say "new school". It's fun, anyway. I play with Katie Kimball most of the time. There's a boy named Wesley who just turned three. I can't wait to be three! I know when my birthday is, and I can't wait! Giana already had her first birthday, so I wish Mommy and Tamisha and Auntie Carol and Uncle Derek would all hurry up and have their birthdays and it can be my turn!
On the days when I don't go to school, I go do fun things with Mommy. Sometimes we go play with my friend Joanna at her house or at a playground. Last week, she came over to my house for ice cream and to play in my clubhouse and sandbox. That was fun. We went to a new playground with Colin and Steven and their mommy, and then we had lunch at their house. Colin has lots of toys I don't have, just like Joanna, so that's fun.
We've been to the zoo, too. That was a fun day. And Mommy spent a whole week trying to get me to use the potty all the time, but I'm just not ready. I would rather pee in my pull-ups than in the potty.
We have had a lot of picnics this month, too. We had one with Nana and her friends Mrs. Canon, Grace, and Baby Isabella at Look Park in Northhampton - we got yelled at by a man driving a little car. I guess we're not s'posed to have picnics there, so don't try it! That same day, we had a picnic at a church with our church friends. I played with the five-year-olds while Mommy helped set up the picnic, but I was glad to see Joanna when she arrived. We ate cupcakes and played games. I even learned to play the ukelele!
Our last picnic was this weekend - Nana, Daddy, Mommy, Auntie Jami and I went to see the WaterFire in Providence. It was really cool! We ate fried chicken and snacks on the grass in front of a big white building where some people were getting married. After we ate, I ran and ran on the grass, and played with Daddy. Then we walked down to meet Uncle Nick, Auntie Carol, and Giana at the water. We soon found Alex, Ryan, Josh, and Mr. & Mrs. Moore. The boys were very nice to me, but a little huggy - I didn't like that too much. They did try to play with me, but I wanted to play with the baby instead. They must get that a lot. Anyway, it was really awesome to see the fires get lit. I actually sat still for that part. We had a really great time.
Yesterday, Mr. Wilde and Miss Covart came to visit, and they brought sirthatcher! I was so excited to see a dog in my own house. I think I scared him, because he barked a lot, and I don't think he's supposed to do that. We had a good time, though. Next time, I hope the weather is better so we can play outside together - I bet he'd love my clubhouse!!
So that's all I have to say right now, except that something's wrong with Mommy lately. She's been sleeping a lot, and just acting strange. I hope she's not sick. I sit on her lap a lot now, to make her feel better. I hope she's better soon.
